Integrating Life Cycle Assessment and Techno-Economic Analysis

Life Cycle assessment (LCA) is used to analyze the environmental aspects and potential impacts throughout a product’s life cycle (ISO). There are several tools available for doing LCA. Techno-economic analysis (TEA) is that well-established process, which when developed in concert with technology, ensures that market-driven prices can be achieved. There are tools available for doing TEA also. But the availability of an established tool which can integrate these two tools together and give the users feedback about the process is very less.
Currently, Roksana is working on integrating an Open LCA tool with TEA tool to give the user ready information on any process as needed at very early stages of a process designs.
